Service Description: A well-fitted suit or tuxedo makes all the difference. Whether it’s for a wedding, a job interview, or a special occasion, I’ll tailor your menswear so it looks sharp and feels comfortable. Common adjustments include: • Jacket sleeves and body tapering • Trouser hem and seat adjustments • Waist suppression • Shirt and vest fitting Suit & Tux FAQ What is the $50 fitting fee? It reserves two 30-minute fittings and covers my time to assess the suit and plan the work. Alteration costs are invoiced separately after your fitting. Do I need to bring anything specific? Wear or bring the dress shirt, shoes, and any accessories you plan to wear with the suit. These affect how everything fits together. How much will tailoring cost? It depends on the suit and what needs to be done. I’ll give you a clear quote at your fitting. You can also submit a quote request online in advance. What if I need it done fast? Rush fees apply for turnarounds under 14 days. Contact me before booking to confirm availability. What if I miss my appointment? The fitting fee is forfeited. A $50 storage fee applies for each appointment missed while your garment is with me. Is my suit insured while it’s with you? Yes, fully insured for its purchase price while in my studio.
Cancellation Policy
1. Booking and Payment** 1.1. By placing an order and making a payment at checkout, you are booking a fitting session with Sewing North Idaho. 1.2. The payment made at the time of booking is nonrefundable. This payment secures your spot for the fitting session and covers the cost of the fitting time. **2. Rescheduling and Cancellations** 2.1. If you need to reschedule your fitting session, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability. 2.2. Cancellations will not result in a refund of the payment made at booking. The payment is nonrefundable under any circumstances. **3. Fitting and Alteration Services** 3.1. The fitting session is intended to assess and determine the necessary alterations to your garments. 3.2. The cost of the alterations will be provided after the fitting session and will depend on the extent of the work required. 3.3. If you decide to pick up your item before the alterations are completed, Sewing North Idaho cannot be held liable for the condition of the final product. **4. Measurements and Additional Charges** 4.1. The client is aware that fluctuations in measurements may result in additional alteration charges. **5. No-Show and Storage Policy** 5.1. If you fail to attend the fitting session without prior notice, the payment made at booking will be forfeited. 5.2. The client understands that they will be held responsible for a $50 storage fee for every appointment missed. This fee covers the cost of storing their garment while it is in our possession. **6. Insurance and Liability** 6.1. The client understands the terms and policies for custom alterations. While the gown is in the studio, it is fully insured for the purchase price the client paid for the gown. 6.2. Sewing North Idaho will not be held liable for any damages to garments that occur during the fitting and alteration process unless due to negligence or misconduct on our part. 6.3. Clients are responsible for informing us of any specific handling instructions or sensitivities related to their garments. **7. Final Pickup and Acceptance** 7.1. The client understands that at the time of pickup, once the garment has been accepted, they are fully committed to the alterations before taking it home. 7.2. Any alterations requested after pickup will be treated as a new service.
