Important Information

Bridal FAQ When should I book my first fitting? Book as soon as you’re at a stable, maintainable weight — ideally 6 to 10 weeks before your wedding. Many brides come in within 4 to 5 weeks, which is workable, but during peak wedding season a rush fee may apply. The earlier you book, the more relaxed the process will be for both of us. What do I need to bring to my first fitting? Bring your wedding shoes and any undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day. Accessories and your veil are welcome at your final fitting so we can get the full picture of your look. How much do alterations cost? Every gown is different — the fabric, the layers, the construction, and what needs to be done all affect the final price. That’s why I offer free quotes. Head to the Request a Quote page, fill out the form, and upload photos of yourself in the gown (front and back). I’ll give you my best estimate. After 10+ years in bridal alterations, I’m usually pretty spot-on. We finalize the alteration plan together at your first fitting. What is the $150 fitting fee and do I get it back? The $150 fitting fee reserves your appointment time — up to one hour for your first fitting. While some seamstresses fold fitting costs into their alteration prices, I keep them separate so you can see exactly what you’re paying for. How do I book an appointment? Click “Book Online” in the navigation menu and choose your service. For bridal appointments, start with “The Bride’s First Fitting.” You can also call or text me at 208.699.2072 if you have questions before booking. How many guests can I bring to my fitting? You’re welcome to bring up to three guests. I especially encourage at least one guest at your final fitting — someone who can video your bustle so you have it as a reference for your wedding day. If you come alone, no worries; I’ll use a tripod so you still go home with that video. Thank you for Reading! I hope to meet you soon!
